AT WALTER STATE CC: A righty at WSC, Park went
4-1 last season, finishing with a 4.38 ERA in 10 appearances in 37
innings pitched. He struck out 29 an allowed only 11 extra base
hits, holding opponents to a .275 average.
IN HIGH SCHOOL: Park earned three varsity letters from East Rutherford High School as a pitcher under Bobby Dale Reynolds. He maintained a 0.76 ERA his junior year with a .420 batting average, and a 1.96 ERA his senior year, fanning 116 batters in 69 innings pitched. He contributed offensively with a .386 average at the plate.
